And Here we are : this wonderous "short" travel is ended, it opened me the desire to discover other horizons, feel so rich of love and hapinness that we can make when we take out beaten tracks...
I met magnificent people on my road, some that I shall have the opportunity to see again, others who already run towards other landscapes and beauty . I write these few words being back in europe for 1 month and the intensity of the sensations are already little diffused in the meanders of the everyday life, but I had pleasure to share it with all of you :)

we had a stop by a field of cacao and coffee, it was really nice, it was also the occasion to taste the most expensive coffee, the one who come trought a little animal who just eat coffee seeds ^^ ( well i have to say i didn't see the difference ...)

voilà un petit strip que j'ai vu de mes yeux vu à Bali, on a passé une journée sur un magnifique voilier de 20 m juste pour tester l'ouverture des voiles et on s'est fait traîner à la corde à l'arrière du bateau... un vrai bonheur !

we woke up at half past 3 to walk for one hour in the dark with no evident indication to get to the volcano, it was something magic and surealistic ! but such an unforgetable memorie !

an then my favourite : the Blind fight ( hu hu hu ) but i don't think it's a "real" fight ; it was more as an entertainement for people during the break i guess...

we can access to the city by 4 monumental gates of 23 m hight ! a fifth door added for direct access to the Royale place , it is the door of victory.every bridge is surrounded by giants (108 protectors of the city), the "Deva (gods) on the left and the" Asura "(demons) on the right (they are both essential because from their opposition was born the dynamism of existence!) they support "Naga", the snake with 7 heads (which is also the symbol of the Khmer rainbow : the bridge between heaven and earth)!

Angkor Thom is the great capital. this is a small glimpse of the central part and the alley of Baphuon.the city was built after a war against the Chams in 1177. Jayavarman VII, back on the throne decided to build a city invincible spiritually as well as physically. the top of the doors ensures Bodhissattva Lokesvara whose faces look like the sovereign's one. they are directed to the 4 cardinal points of the city to protect it! Hindu symbolism is reinforced by the Buddhist symbolism and becomes more accessible to people ...

Banteay Kdei means the Citadel cells, or the place where the monks lived. Built in 1181 by Jayavarman VII. Archaeologists believe that it is a tribute to Buddha to complete the triad Buddha with the Prajnaparamita, (which he has dedicated Ta Prohm) and the venerable Lokesvara in Preah Khan. others think it is a tribute to his tutor.

This was the central place of the temple, there is the "candle" of Buddha (which contains the ashes) with the flame that emerges through a hole in the wall. all the little holes that you see were rubies in this time and the room was illuminated whith the light ofthe sun !

this is also a symbol of the woman with the man inside, both could touch it to assert their fertility

Preah Khan was built by Jayavarman in 1184 and dedicated to his father in 1191 and to his wife as well. it means the sacred place of the sword and also symbolizes the union between the 2 dominant religion of the population ; Hinduism and Buddhism. There are also shrines dedicated to local divinities.
